Gender Pay Gap Results 2017

As a business, Brand-Rex believes that the promotion of equal opportunities including salaries and benefits in employment enables individuals to maximise their contribution and enhances the overall success of the business.   As a company, we have pay equity within the same job roles.

This data is taken from the ‘snapshot’ date of 5th  April 2017  and we have reported on the government website at:   https://gender-pay-gap.service.gov.uk/Viewing/search-results

Since the snapshot date, we have increased the overall number of women employed by the company by 15%.

The Results

Basis of the Calculations

The number of full-pay relevant employees employed at the snapshot date to calculate the hourly mean and median gender pay gap –

Based on the data at the snapshot date, the difference between women and men across the entire UK business is 13%.

3. Bonus Data

Of our 292 employees, 122 employees (42%) received a ‘bonus’ payment during the review period May 2016 to April 2017.

Of the 122:

  • 99 (81%) were male
  • 23 (19%) were female

Based on the data at the snapshot date, the mean difference in bonus between women and men across the entire UK business is -94%.  (For clarity the mean female bonus was almost double that for males).

4. Pay Quartiles

The calculations reported above, to the best of my knowledge and belief, are accurate based on the relevant data for the reporting period.
